God as father (2/4)

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.
Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
