- No one has seen God at any time. The only born Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him.
- I thank you and praise you,
O God of my fathers,
who have given me wisdom and might,
and have now made known to me what we desired of you;
for you have made known to us the king’s matter. - Now all this has happened that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
“Behold, the virgin shall be with child,
and shall give birth to a son.
They shall call his name Immanuel,”
which is, being interpreted, “God with us.” - Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them, for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.
- Yahweh’s name is a strong tower:
the righteous run to him, and are safe. - Glory to God in the highest,
on earth peace, good will toward men. - Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.”
- Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.
- Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- We know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
- For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- There is no one as holy as Yahweh,
for there is no one besides you,
nor is there any rock like our God. - But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.
- Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope.
- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
- The testimony is this: that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent.
- Yours, Yahweh, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty! For all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, Yahweh, and you are exalted as head above all.
- Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
- That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love.
- Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”
- You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
- My soul, wait in silence for God alone,
for my expectation is from him. - Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
