- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever. - In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - The Lord God is my strength,
and he will make my feet like hinds' feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. - I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - Seek the Lord, and his strength:
seek his face evermore. - Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
- The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. - The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
- The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
- And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
- But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
- But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint. - Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
- God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.Next verse!With image
