- God is our refuge and our strength,
a well-proved help in times of trouble. - Reflect on the Lord and his strength;
seek his face continually. - The Lord God is my strength;
he makes my feet as swift as those of a deer
and enables me to tread on the heights. - Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - Even should my heart and my flesh fail,
God is the rock of my heart
and my portion forever. - May the Lord grant strength to his people.
May the Lord bless his people with peace. - He gives strength to the weary
and new vigor to those who are powerless. - I love you, O Lord, my strength,
O Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer.
My God is my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation,
my stronghold. - You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart places its trust in him.
He has helped me, and I exult;
then with my song I praise him. - Finally, find your strength in the Lord and in his mighty power.
- Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever he pleases. - Whoever does not love
does not know God,
because God is love. - Surely God is my helper;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - Wealth and honor are from you,
you reign over all.
In your hand are power and might;
it to is in your hand make great and to give strength to all. - No trial has confronted you except what a person can stand. God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tried beyond your strength. But together with the trial he will also provide a way out and the strength to bear it.
- He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
- Now an intermediary is not necessary when there is only one party, and God is one.
- God is Spirit,
and those who worship him
must worship in Spirit and truth. - And ‘to love him with all your heart, and with all your understanding, and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself,’ is worth more than any burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Those who place their hope in the Lord
will regain their strength.
They will soar as with eagles’ wings,
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not become faint. - My deliverance and my glory depend on God;
he is my mighty rock and my refuge. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. - What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- Then Nehemiah added: “You now may go. Eat rich food and drink what is sweet. Moreover, send some of these to those for whom nothing has been prepared, for this day is holy to our Lord. Furthermore, do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.To anyone who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself overcame and sat with my Father on his throne. If I have the gift of prophecy
and the ability to understand all mysteries and all knowledge,
and have all the faith necessary to move mountains,
but do not have love,
I am nothing.Next verse!With image
