Good faith (4/4)

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.I am confident of this: that the one who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.We know that God makes all things work together for good for those who love him and who are called according to his purpose.
And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive it all.Whatever you ask for in faith-filled prayer, you will receive.
And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.”Jesus answered them, “Amen, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to this fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be accomplished.”
As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.You intended to do evil to me, but God decided to make it serve a good, to fulfill that which today has come true: to keep alive a numerous people.
See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people.Make sure that no one pays back evil for evil. Rather, always aim to achieve what is best for each other and for everyone.
To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life.To those who seek after glory and honor and immortality by persevering in good works, he will grant eternal life.
So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?Does God give you the Spirit and work mighty deeds among you because you have kept the Law or because you believed what you have heard?
Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor, Obtain justice for the orphan, Plead for the widow’s case.And learn to do good. Pursue justice and rescue the oppressed; listen to the plea of the orphan and defend the widow.
But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction.But now the righteousness of God that is attested by the Law and the Prophets has been manifested apart from law: the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. No distinction has been made.
Who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, eager for good deeds.He gave himself for us in order to deliver us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people as his own who are eager to do good.
The Lord is good and upright; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way.Good and upright is the Lord; therefore, he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them the path to follow.
But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who are abusive to you.But to those of you who are listening to me, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time.
One who gets wisdom loves his own soul; One who keeps understanding will find good.Whoever gains wisdom loves his own soul; one who cherishes understanding will prosper.
And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with a joy that is indescribable and glorious. That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love.I ask that from the riches of his glory he may grant through his Spirit that you be strengthened with power in your inner being and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one’s lifetime; moreover, that every person who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor—this is the gift of God.I understand that man’s greatest happiness is to be glad and do well throughout his life. And when we eat and drink and find satisfaction in all our labors, this is a gift of God.
So if you, despite being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?If you, then, despite your evil nature, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.And God is able to enrich you with an abundance of every grace, so that, with all of your needs provided for, you may be able to produce a surplus of good works.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; All those who follow His commandments have a good understanding; His praise endures forever.The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; those who are guided by it will grow in understanding. His praise will last forever.
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.Beloved, I pray that everything is going well with you and that your bodily health is equal to that of your soul.
Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.Is anyone among you sick? He should send for the presbyters of the Church so that they may pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven.
