- God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? - Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
- Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
- When he realizes his guilt in any of these and confesses the sin he has committed, he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation for the sin that he has committed.
- He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength. - Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
- The one who conceals hatred has lying lips,

- For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! - Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth. - And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.
- This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.
- Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
- And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
- Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
- Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
- Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.
- And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
- For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
- When you vow a vow to God, do not delay paying it, for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you vow.
- Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
