- Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love him.
- Behold, today I am going the way of all the earth. You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which Yahweh your God spoke concerning you. All have happened to you. Not one thing has failed of it.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh,
the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. - You may say in your heart, “How shall we know the word which Yahweh has not spoken?” When a prophet speaks in Yahweh’s name, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him.
- As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. - He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’
- If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
- The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to heal the broken hearted,
to proclaim release to the captives,
recovering of sight to the blind,
to deliver those who are crushed. - Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.
- The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me,
because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble.
He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives
and release to those who are bound. - Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
- Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
- We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
- Only fear Yahweh, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.
- There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
- Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.
- Who has worked and done it,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I, Yahweh, the first, and with the last, I am he. - He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him!”
- Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.
- The vine has dried up, and the fig tree withered—
the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree,
even all of the trees of the field are withered;
for joy has withered away from the sons of men. - For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.
- He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.
- He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.
- You shall diligently keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.
- For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
