Has (3/4)

  • There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
  • Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf.
  • One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
  • He who hides hatred has lying lips.
He who utters a slander is a fool.
  • Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.
  • But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?
  • When you vow a vow to God, don’t defer to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you vow.
  • He has shown you, O man, what is good.
What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly,
to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
  • Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
  • Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”
  • It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned.
  • Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you now see and hear.
  • Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.
  • When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the army, neither shall he be assigned any business. He shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he has taken.
  • I will greatly rejoice in Yahweh!
My soul will be joyful in my God,
for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation.
He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
  • All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made.
  • If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.
  • But I trust in your loving kindness.
My heart rejoices in your salvation.
    I will sing to Yahweh,
because he has been good to me.
  • Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
  • We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
  • Go your way—eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works.
  • But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
  • I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice,
    and my cries for mercy.
Because he has turned his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
  • But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
  • It shall be righteousness to us, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahweh our God, as he has commanded us.

The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.”
