- He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

this is known in all the earth. - But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
- God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
- Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. - And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
- This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;
and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

his way have I kept, and not declined. - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
- The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;
because the Lord hath anointed me
to preach good tidings unto the meek;
he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. - Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
- Who hath wrought and done it,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he. - And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
- Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
- And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
- Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
- For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
- For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

- When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.
- The vine is dried up,
and the fig tree languisheth;
the pomegranate tree,
the palm tree also,
and the apple tree,
even all the trees of the field, are withered:
because joy is withered away
from the sons of men. - But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
