- A fool does not delight in understanding,
But in revealing his own mind. - He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, without the possibility that mankind will find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.
- Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.
- Praise the Lord in song, for He has done glorious things;
Let this be known throughout the earth. - As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our wrongdoings from us. - For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit.
- And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

And my feet have not slipped. - A person has joy in an apt answer,
And how delightful is a timely word! - For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.
- So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years.

- Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.
- Like a city that is broken into and without walls
So is a person who has no self-control over his spirit. - Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
- And if you say in your heart, ‘How will we recognize the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ When the prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, and the thing does not happen or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you are not to be afraid of him.
- The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen for His own inheritance. - Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, the one who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.
- And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.
- A person of too many friends comes to ruin,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. - The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise the wife also to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise the husband also does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
