| Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. |

| But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. | And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. |
