He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.

Who has worked and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, Yahweh, the first, and with the last, I am he.Who has done this and carried it through, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord—with the first of them and with the last—I am he.

He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
