| Don’t envy the man of violence. Choose none of his ways. For the perverse is an abomination to Yahweh, but his friendship is with the upright. | Do not envy a violent man or choose to emulate any of his ways. | Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. | As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. |

| A man’s steps are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. | The Lord makes a man’s steps secure when he approves of his conduct. |
| God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them. | God created mankind in his image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them. |
