Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.

He covets greedily all day long, But the righteous gives and does not spare.Some people are always greedy for more, but the godly love to give!

Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.
Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life.Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. Hold firmly to the word of life.
The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him.
Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent.
Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord; Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me. Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me.
For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.”
