How (3/4)

Then Peter asked, “Ananias, why has Satan so gained control of your heart that you lied to the Holy Spirit and retained part of the sale price of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not belong to you? And after it was sold, were not the proceeds yours? What caused you to contrive this scheme? You have lied not to men but to God.”But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.”
For God would not be so unjust as to ignore your work and the love that you have shown for his name by the services you have rendered to the saints and still continue to render. For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
Fine words are not becoming to a fool, and much less are false words to a noble.Excellent speech is not fitting for a fool, Much less are lying lips to a prince.
He said to them, “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.”
For they said to you, “In the final age there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly passions.” It is these people who create divisions, who follow their natural instincts and do not possess the Spirit. That they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.
Alleluia. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his precepts.Praise the Lord! Blessed is a person who fears the Lord, Who greatly delights in His commandments.
I do not say this because I have been in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have. Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
Blessed is the man whom God reproves. Therefore, do not reject the discipline of the Almighty.Behold, happy is the person whom God disciplines, So do not reject the discipline of the Almighty.
After this, he said to the crowd, “Take care to be on your guard against all kinds of greed. Life does not depend upon an abundance of one’s possessions.”But He said to them, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one is affluent does his life consist of his possessions.”
The birth of Jesus Christ occurred in this way. When his mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, but before they came to live together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
One who is covetous will never be satisfied with money, nor will the lover of wealth be content with gain. This too is vanity. One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves abundance with its income. This too is futility.
Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with your whole heart, considering the great things he has done for you.Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.
For no one can be regarded as justified in the sight of God by keeping the Law. The Law brings only the consciousness of sin.Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.
One day, as Jesus was passing through a field of grain on the Sabbath, his disciples began to pick some heads of grain as they walked along. The Pharisees said to him, “Behold, why are your disciples doing what is forbidden on the Sabbath?” He answered, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need of food? He entered the house of God when Abiathar was high priest and ate the sacred bread that only the priests were permitted to eat, and he shared it with his companions.” Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. That is why the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”And it happened that He was passing through the grainfields on the Sabbath, and His disciples began to make their way along while picking the heads of grain. The Pharisees were saying to Him, “Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath?” And He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions became hungry; how he entered the house of God in the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the consecrated bread, which is not lawful for anyone to eat except the priests, and he also gave it to those who were with him?” Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord, even of the Sabbath.”
And you will say on that day: Give thanks to the Lord, invoke his name; make known his deeds among the nations; proclaim that his name is exalted. And on that day you will say, “Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; Make them remember that His name is exalted.”
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may attain eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.
Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself; thus my lips will speak your praise. I will bless you all my life; with uplifted hands I will call on your name.Because Your favor is better than life, My lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
We have come to know and to believe in the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him.We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
All those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And the proof that he abides in us is the Spirit that he has given us.The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
He is a rock, his deeds are perfect, and all of his ways are just. He is a God of truth who does no wrong; he is just and upright. The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and just is He.
But Jesus has now received a ministry that is far superior, for he is the mediator of a far better covenant that has been established on better promises. But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, to the extent that He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.
But I have had help from God to this very day, and I stand here and testify to both the lowly and the great. I assert nothing more than what the Prophets and Moses said would occur: that the Christ must suffer, and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light to the people and to the Gentiles. So, having obtained help from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, stating nothing but what the Prophets and Moses said was going to take place, as to whether the Christ was to suffer, and whether, as first from the resurrection of the dead, He would proclaim light both to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
Such hope will not be doomed to disappointment, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Each person should give as much as he has decided in his heart, not with reluctance or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
