| And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. | Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. So they do it to obtain a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. |

| Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. | Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all! |
| Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. | Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. |
