- Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
- And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
- I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - I delight to do Your will, O my God,
And Your law is within my heart. - I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.
- Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. - Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
- Hatred stirs up strife,
But love covers all sins. - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
- And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.
- And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you.
- And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
- Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
- But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope. - If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.
- For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
- And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
A good understanding have all those who do His commandments.
His praise endures forever. - Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
- But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
- Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it. - But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
- Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
