- I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
- So we can confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?” - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can man do to me? - I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
- In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me? - Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord.
Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord. - And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
- Or can one walk on hot coals
and his feet not be scorched? - An excellent wife who can find?
She is far more precious than jewels. - So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
- What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- How can a young man keep his way pure?
By guarding it according to your word. - The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately sick;
who can understand it?
“I the Lord search the heart
and test the mind,
to give every man according to his ways,
according to the fruit of his deeds.” - Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
- And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
- Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?
- Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble. - And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us.
- Can a woman forget her nursing child,
that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me. - And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day.
- No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
- And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.
- Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life.
- Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! - And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.Next verse!With image
