- I, even I, am He who comforts you.
Who are you that you should be afraid
Of a man who will die,
And of the son of a man who will be made like grass? - And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.
- But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.’
- That I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you.
- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
- These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
- Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. - How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house.
- O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water. - I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
- I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - I will extol You, my God, O King;
And I will bless Your name forever and ever. - Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
- I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
- Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You. - Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
- O Lord, You are my God.
I will exalt You,
I will praise Your name,
For You have done wonderful things;
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. - O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.” - Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You,
And my soul, which You have redeemed. - Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
Save me, and I shall be saved,
For You are my praise. - My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up.
Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.Next verse!With image
