- I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah - But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.’
- And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.
- These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. - That I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you.
- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water. - How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house.
- If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
- I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.” - I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
- I will extol You, my God, O King;
And I will bless Your name forever and ever. - Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You. - I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
- O Lord, You are my God.
I will exalt You,
I will praise Your name,
For You have done wonderful things;
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. - My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You,
And my soul, which You have redeemed. - Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
- Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
Save me, and I shall be saved,
For You are my praise. - Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- But I will sacrifice to You
With the voice of thanksgiving;
I will pay what I have vowed.
Salvation is of the Lord.
