- Blessed are those who trust in the Lord
and whose hope is the Lord.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that spreads out its roots to the stream.
When the heat comes, it does not fear;
its leaves stay green.
It is not concerned in a year of drought,
and it never fails to bear fruit. - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
- Indeed, “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- Let your kindness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.

Who is a rock aside from our God? - Do not be lacking in zeal, but serve the Lord with spiritual fervor.

the Maker of heaven and earth. - Finally, find your strength in the Lord and in his mighty power.

- Reflect on the Lord and his strength;
seek his face continually. - I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything impossible for me to accomplish?
- Blessed are all those who fear the Lord
and walk in his ways. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Let everything that breathes
offer praise to the Lord.
Alleluia. - For this day in the city of David there has been born to you a Savior who is Christ, the Lord.
- The reward of humility and fear of the Lord
is wealth, honor, and life. - Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid.
What can mortals do to me? - I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - The Lord makes poor and makes rich,
he humbles and he also exalts. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and merciful in everything he does. - On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to place your trust in mortals. - I wait for the Lord in anxious expectation;
I place my hope in his word.
