But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle toward heaven.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
