- When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

to him who sent me.” - But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

“My teaching is not my own;

- On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out,
“If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.” - God is faithful, and it is by him that you have been called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- Jesus said,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can enter the kingdom of God
unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” - Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
everyone who sins
is a slave of sin.” - Rather, grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now and for all eternity. Amen. - Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus.
- Jesus replied,
“This is the work of God:
to believe in the one whom he has sent.” - Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.
- But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Jesus answered him,
“Whoever loves me will keep my word,
and my Father will love him,
and we will come to him
and make our abode with him.” - Above his head was inscribed the charge against him: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
- Who indeed conquers the world
except the one who believes
that Jesus is the Son of God? - Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?”
- Through faith you are all children of God in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves in Christ.
- Then Peter came up to him and asked, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy times seven.”
