- You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace,
because he trusts in you. - It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife,
but every fool will be quarreling. - But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God’s love, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

- Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
