Bible Verses about 'Keepeth'
- Whoever observes the commandments will live,
but the one who scorns them will die. - He who guards his mouth makes his life secure,
but one who talks excessively ensures his own downfall. - For he guards the paths of justice
and keeps watch over the way of his faithful ones. - A fool gives free rein to his anger,
but a wise man bides his time and calms it. - He will not permit your foot to stumble;
he who guards you will not fall asleep. - Whoever heeds admonition is on the path to life,
but anyone who rejects correction goes astray. - Whoever gains wisdom loves his own soul;
one who cherishes understanding will prosper. - All those who keep his commandments abide in him,
and he abides in them.
And the proof that he abides in us
is the Spirit that he has given us. - Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments.

And whoever loves me
will be loved by my Father,
and I will love him
and reveal myself to him. - Dear children,
keep away from idols. - If you love me,

and keep my eyes upon you. - For no one can be regarded as justified in the sight of God by keeping the Law. The Law brings only the consciousness of sin.

you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commandments
and remain in his love. - Keep falsehood and lying far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but simply provide me with the food that I need. - Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise;
if he closes his lips, he is regarded as intelligent. - Jesus answered him,

and we will come to him
and make our abode with him.” - This is the end of my teaching.

Fear God and keep his commandments,
for that is the responsibility of everyone. - Now, if you will obey my voice and keep my covenant, you will be my own possession from among all the peoples, for the entire earth is mine.

Everyone who has this hope in him
keeps himself pure,
just as he is pure. - You shall observe the Sabbath by keeping it holy, as the Lord, your God, has commanded you. You are to labor on six days, doing all of your work then. The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord, your God. You shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass, nor your cattle, nor even the foreigner living in your town. Thus your manservant and maidservant can rest as well.
- Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath in honor of the Lord your God. You shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male slave, nor your female slave, nor your animals, nor the foreigner who dwells with you. The Lord made the heavens and the earth and the seas and that which is in them in six days, but he rested the seventh day. Thus, the Lord blessed the Sabbath and declared it to be sacred.
