- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah - I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever. - For the Lord is our judge;
the Lord is our lawgiver;
the Lord is our king;
he will save us. - And over his head they put the charge against him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”

on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him, they mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- Go, gather all the Jews to be found in Susa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my young women will also fast as you do. Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law, and if I perish, I perish.
- To you, O God of my fathers,
I give thanks and praise,
for you have given me wisdom and might,
and have now made known to me what we asked of you,
for you have made known to us the king's matter. - Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us.

- Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
- Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
- Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
