The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.The heart is deceitful above all things and it is exceedingly corrupt. Who can know it? “I, Yahweh, search the mind. I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.Knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.Whoever loves correction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid.
For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.For in much wisdom is much grief; and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
