Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Lack'
- The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
- Without counsel purposes are disappointed:
but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. - Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
- The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. - In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin:
but he that refraineth his lips is wise. - Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.
- Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
- He that hath no rule over his own spirit
is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. - For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
- The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.Next verse! With image
