- For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.
I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,

- For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
- And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
- I have chosen the way of truth:
thy judgments have I laid before me. - Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance.
- He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust. - For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to enquire in his temple. - Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
- For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
- Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
- But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - For thus saith the high and lofty One
that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place,
with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
