Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee. You are altogether beautiful, my darling, beautiful in every way.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.
For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself.
And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And I know it is important to love him with all my heart and all my understanding and all my strength, and to love my neighbor as myself. This is more important than to offer all of the burnt offerings and sacrifices required in the law.
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.
