By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.
Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.Nevertheless, as for you individually, each husband is to love his own wife the same as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.
But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

And hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.If I speak with the tongues of mankind and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

For you, brothers, were called for freedom. I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy. Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one. You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.Hear, Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
Finally, brothers, rejoice! Be perfected. Be comforted. Be of the same mind. Live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, mend your ways, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?He has told you, mortal one, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?

For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.
