Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret.
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.
And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.
