Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”He replied, “What is impossible for men is possible for God.”
He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.He brought you low, allowing you to suffer from hunger. He then fed you with manna, something with which your fathers were not familiar, so that you might come to know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes forth from the mouth of the Lord.
Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! What then if you were to behold the Son of Man ascend to where he was before?
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.No trial has confronted you except what a person can stand. God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tried beyond your strength. But together with the trial he will also provide a way out and the strength to bear it.
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A person will reap only what he sows.
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”And God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the wild animals and reptiles that crawl upon the earth.”
While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. In my anguish I cried out; the Lord heard my plea, and I was saved from all my troubles.
Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.Plans miscarry when counsel is lacking, but they succeed when there are many counselors.
Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. The fear of others will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is secure.
Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.Listen, my son, and take my words to heart, and the years of your life will be multiplied.
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.A good man produces good from the store of goodness in his heart, whereas an evil man produces evil from the store of evil within him. For the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart.
The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.The father of a good man will rejoice; he who begets a wise son will delight in him.
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.The misfortunes of the righteous man are many, but the Lord delivers him, from all of them.
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”And the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I wish to make another creature who will be like him.”
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”Jesus looked at them and said, “For men this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Many are the plans in a human mind, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will prevail.
For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.The Lord, your God, will bless you as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but borrow from none. You shall rule over many nations, but none shall rule over you.
So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. Therefore, you must also be prepared, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you. Thus you could understand that the Lord, your God, was disciplining you, just like a father disciplines his son.
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. For just as in one body we have many parts, and the parts do not all have the same function, so we, though many, make up one body in Christ, and individually we are all parts of one another.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.”
But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness.
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”Jesus answered, “As it is written: ‘Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.’ ”

Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
