- The body is one, although it has many parts; and all the parts, though many, form one body. So it is with Christ.
- For just as through the disobedience of one man the many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one man the many will be made righteous.
- But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.
- For just as in one body we have many parts, and the parts do not all have the same function, so we, though many, make up one body in Christ, and individually we are all parts of one another.
- The Lord, your God, will bless you as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but borrow from none. You shall rule over many nations, but none shall rule over you.
- The misfortunes of the righteous man are many,
but the Lord delivers him, from all of them. - Many are the plans in a human mind,
but it is the purpose of the Lord that will prevail. - For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- However, the gift is not like the transgression. For if the transgression of one man led to the death of the many, how much greater was the overflowing effect of the grace of God and the gift of the one man Jesus Christ that has abounded for the many.
- In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- Plans miscarry when counsel is lacking,
but they succeed when there are many counselors. - For all of us fall short in many ways. Anyone who never makes a mistake in speech has reached perfection and is able to control every part of his body.
- Many shall be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will persist in their evil ways.
- In my Father’s house
there are many dwelling places.
If there were not,
would I have told you
that I am going to prepare a place for you? - As sorrowful, and yet we are always rejoicing; as poor, and yet we make many rich; as having nothing, and yet we possess everything.
- Listen, my son, and take my words to heart,
and the years of your life will be multiplied. - Beloved,
do not trust every spirit,
but test the spirits
to see whether they are from God.
For many false prophets
have gone out into the world. - However, those who want riches fall into temptations and are trapped into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction.
- I will, thereby, display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known to many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
- The love of money is the root of all evils, and in their desire for it some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many serious wounds.
- Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your noble confession of faith in the presence of many witnesses.
- So Christ, having been offered once to take away the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to bring salvation to those who are eagerly waiting for him.
- Where many words are spoken, sin is not absent,
but whoever restrains his tongue is prudent. - When you pray do not go on babbling endlessly as the pagans do, for they believe that they are more likely to be heard because of their many words.
- Then he took a cup, and after offering thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from this, all of you. For this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins.”
Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and those who find it are few in number.Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts:
he is the King of glory. Selah Do not succumb to the love of money, but be content with what you have, for God has said, “I will never forsake you or abandon you.”Next verse! With image
