If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.Now Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, in order to register along with Mary, who was betrothed to him, and was pregnant.
They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.All these were continually devoting themselves with one mind to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us.
“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”But Jesus said to him, “ ‘If You can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.”
But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.”And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.”
The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise the wife also to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise the husband also does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the gospel.

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.
“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”

“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.
