  • And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.
  • Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
    “Hosanna to the Son of David!
    ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’
    Hosanna in the highest!”
  • So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.”
  • Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
  • And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
  • But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
  • And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
  • Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
  • Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
  • Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
  • Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
  • His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
  • And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
  • Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
  • Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
  • Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?
  • And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
  • And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him:
    THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
  • But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
  • Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
  • Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
  • But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”
  • And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
  • So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
  • Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”
  • Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!
  • Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
  • Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance.
  • I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
  • And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
  • But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
  • From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
  • Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
  • And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
  • Blessed are the poor in spirit,
    For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
  • Blessed are those who mourn,
    For they shall be comforted.
  • Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    For they shall be filled.
  • Blessed are the pure in heart,
    For they shall see God.
  • Blessed are the peacemakers,
    For they shall be called sons of God.
  • Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
    For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
  • Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
  • You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
  • You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
  • Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
  • Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
  • For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
  • Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
  • You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
  • If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
  • But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne; nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
