He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.

You shall walk after Yahweh your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor.
I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who will be made as grass?I, I am he who comforts you; why then are you afraid of a mere mortal who must die, a human being who fades like grass?
But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
But say the things which fit sound doctrine.But as for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine.
It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned.When you realize your guilt in any of these, you shall confess the sin that you have committed.
You shall diligently keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.You must diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his decrees, and his statutes that he has commanded you.
‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’You shall not murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not bear false witness; Honor your father and mother; also, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
So then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.So then let us not fall asleep as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.
When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the army, neither shall he be assigned any business. He shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he has taken.When a man is newly married, he shall not go out with the army or be charged with any related duty. He shall be free at home one year, to be happy with the wife whom he has married.
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise.
But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ.But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet”; and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Every moving thing that lives will be food for you. As I gave you the green herb, I have given everything to you. But flesh with its life, that is, its blood, you shall not eat.Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. Only, you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God's wrath.
We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another abounds.We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of everyone of you for one another is increasing.
One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.Some judge one day to be better than another, while others judge all days to be alike. Let all be fully convinced in their own minds.
Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus.Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.
Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is also merciful.Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
But just as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior, because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”Instead, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct; for it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

You shall most certainly not make gods of silver or gods of gold for yourselves to be alongside me.You shall not make gods of silver alongside me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
