- Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God, and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.

I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. - Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.
- A person has joy in an apt answer,
And how delightful is a timely word! - For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.
- Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
- Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich,
And He adds no sorrow to it. - This is what the Lord says:
“Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths,
Where the good way is, and walk in it;
Then you will find a resting place for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
- Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the Law.
