- Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”
- Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
- I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. - Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one.
- Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects;
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. - Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
- “Can anyone hide himself in secret places,
So I shall not see him?” says the Lord;
“Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord. - I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
- But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.”
- Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.
- The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise. - And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
- If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
- Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
- For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
- Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things.
- Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
- Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
- Do not turn to the right or the left;
Remove your foot from evil. - We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
- He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
- And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- Excellent speech is not becoming to a fool,
Much less lying lips to a prince. - Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
- Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? While you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.Next verse!With image
