God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don’t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist, that no flesh should boast before God.And the insignificant things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no human may boast before God.
I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.
I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice, and to do good as long as they live. Also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy good in all his labor, is the gift of God.I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one’s lifetime; moreover, that every person who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor—this is the gift of God.
Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is with people who take advice.Through overconfidence comes nothing but strife, But wisdom is with those who receive counsel.
Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one.Therefore, concerning the eating of food sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing at all in the world, and that there is no God but one.

Yahweh is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.The Lord is my shepherd, I will not be in need. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.
