- But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
- But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.
- For he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones. - To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
- But I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in obedience to all I command you, that it may go well with you.
- Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

- For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

- God sets the lonely in families,
he leads out the prisoners with singing;
but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. - Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
