- Hatred stirs up strife,
but love overlooks all offenses. - But he was pierced for our offenses
and crushed for our iniquity;
the punishment that made us whole fell upon him,
and by his bruises we have been healed. - Repent and renounce all your transgressions. Otherwise your iniquity will prove to be your downfall.
- Have mercy on me, O God,
in accord with your kindness;
in your abundant compassion
wipe away my offenses.
Wash me completely from my guilt,
and cleanse me from my sin. - Then I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I made no attempt to conceal my guilt.
I said, “I will confess my offenses to the Lord,”
and you removed the guilt of my sin. Selah - I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud
and your sins like a mist.
Return to me,
for I have redeemed you. - I urge you, brethren, to watch out for those who incite dissensions and obstacles in opposition to the teaching that you have learned. Take care to avoid them.
- But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.
- If you forgive others for the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- And whenever you stand in prayer, forgive whatever grievance you have against anybody, so that your Father in heaven may forgive your wrongs too.
Grant justice to the weak and the orphan;
defend the rights of the lowly and the poor. For so has the Lord commanded us to do, saying,
‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles
so that you may bring salvation
to the farthest corners of the earth.’Next verse!With image
