- O taste and see that the Lord is good;
happy are those who take refuge in him. - O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - If only they had such a mind as this, to fear me and to keep all my commandments always, so that it might go well with them and with their children forever!
- O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever. - O how abundant is your goodness
that you have laid up for those who fear you,
and accomplished for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of everyone! - O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples. - Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - With my whole heart I seek you;
do not let me stray from your commandments. - Happy are those
who do not follow the advice of the wicked,
or take the path that sinners tread,
or sit in the seat of scoffers. - I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud,
and your sins like mist;
return to me, for I have redeemed you. - We love because he first loved us.
- He must increase, but I must decrease.
- Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
- If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
- I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.
- So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
- Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
- Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.
- Then Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine but his who sent me.”
- The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.
- Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.
- You have already been cleansed by the word that I have spoken to you.
- Everyone who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.
This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our ancestors; may he not leave us or abandon us. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all, training us to renounce impiety and worldly passions, and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly.Next verse!With image
