I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end.
Now a mediator involves more than one party; but God is one.Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that counts is faith working through love. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
By insolence the heedless make strife, but wisdom is with those who take advice.Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.
But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
There is one lawgiver and judge who is able to save and to destroy. So who, then, are you to judge your neighbor? There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
I will both lie down and sleep in peace; for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety.I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him.My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little while longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
And the Lord will become king over all the earth; on that day the Lord will be one and his name one.And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. Only, you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
If only they had such a mind as this, to fear me and to keep all my commandments always, so that it might go well with them and with their children forever!O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked what is perverse. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.
For his anger is but for a moment; his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
If you will only obey the Lord your God, by diligently observing all his commandments that I am commanding you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.
Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

So now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? Only to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord your God and his decrees that I am commanding you today, for your own well-being.And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow.Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
He humbled you by letting you hunger, then by feeding you with manna, with which neither you nor your ancestors were acquainted, in order to make you understand that one does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.
If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple. One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.
