- Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- For:
“If anyone wishes to love life
and to experience good days,
he must restrain his tongue from evil
and his lips from deceitful speech.
He must turn away from evil and do good,
seek peace and pursue it.” - Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to all those on whom his favor rests. - Those who love your law have great peace;
they encounter no stumbling blocks. - And let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it was for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful.
- Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives
do I give it to you.
Do not let your hearts be troubled;
be not afraid. - The desires of the flesh result in death, but the desires of the Spirit result in life and peace.
- O Lord, you grant peace to those who are steadfast
because of their trust in you. - Meanwhile, the Church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria enjoyed peace, building up strength and living in the fear of the Lord. Encouraged by the Holy Spirit, the Church grew in numbers.
- Make every possible effort to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
- May the Lord grant strength to his people.
May the Lord bless his people with peace. - As much as possible, and to the extent of your ability, live in peace with everyone.
- “Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again.
“As the Father has sent me,
so I send you.” - Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil,
but those who counsel peace have joy. - Do the things that you have learned, received, and heard from me and that you saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
- Seek peace with everyone, as well as the holiness without which no one will ever see the Lord.
- May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may grow rich in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- Turn away from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.
- Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord shine his face upon you and be gracious to you.
The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace. - Then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
- How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of the messenger who announces peace,
who bears good news and proclaims glad tidings,
announcing salvation and saying to Zion,
“Your God is king.” - In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.
- At the time that discipline is received, it always seems painful rather than pleasant, but afterward it yields a harvest of peace and uprightness to those who have been trained by it.
For a child has been born to us,
a son has been given to us.
Upon his shoulders dominion rests,
and this is the name he has been given:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city. No one who conceals his transgressions will prosper,
but one who confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy.Next verse! With image
