So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. We have sinned and done wrong. I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. The Lord sends poverty and wealth; Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Wealth and honor come from you; And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. Trust in the Lord and do good; And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Rend your heartord your God, John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
