Bible Verses about 'Peoples'
- O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples. - I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples,
and I will sing praises to you among the nations. - You shall be holy to me; for I the Lord am holy, and I have separated you from the other peoples to be mine.
- Now therefore, if you obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession out of all the peoples. Indeed, the whole earth is mine.
- And you will say in that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
call on his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. - For the customs of the peoples are false:
a tree from the forest is cut down,
and worked with an ax by the hands of an artisan;
people deck it with silver and gold;
they fasten it with hammer and nails
so that it cannot move.
Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field,
and they cannot speak;
they have to be carried,
for they cannot walk.
Do not be afraid of them,
for they cannot do evil,
nor is it in them to do good. - Look! He is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him;
and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail.
So it is to be. Amen. - See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for me?
- And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
“See, the home of God is among mortals.
He will dwell with them as their God;
they will be his peoples,
and God himself will be with them;
he will wipe every tear from their eyes.
Death will be no more;
mourning and crying and pain will be no more,
for the first things have passed away.” - Because you are precious in my sight,
and honored, and I love you,
I give people in return for you,
nations in exchange for your life.
