- Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

Is like a city broken down, without walls. - Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
- How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word. - Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad. - The ransom of a man’s life is his riches,
But the poor does not hear rebuke. - But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
- Who “will render to each one according to his deeds”
- For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.
- As in water face reflects face,
So a man’s heart reveals the man. - Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all. - Knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.
- So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
- So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
- We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
- Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
- For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.
- If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
- A fool’s wrath is known at once,
But a prudent man covers shame. - Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
- For there is not a just man on earth who does good
And does not sin. - A man has joy by the answer of his mouth,
And a word spoken in due season, how good it is! - Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
- For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
- If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.
