- For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day.
- Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
- Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
- The liberal soul shall be made fat.
He who waters shall be watered also himself. - The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.
- For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.
- One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.
- He said, “That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man. For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts, covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the man.”
- Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love him.
- That which makes a man to be desired is his kindness.
A poor man is better than a liar. - Iron sharpens iron;
so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance. - Let your beauty come not from the outward adorning of braiding your hair, and of wearing gold ornaments or of putting on fine clothing, but from the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight.
- If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
- One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.
- A perverse man stirs up strife.
A whisperer separates close friends. - There is a way which seems right to a man,
but in the end it leads to death. - Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
the man who gets understanding. - A man’s pride brings him low,

- Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

- How can a young man keep his way pure?
By living according to your word. - Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love.Who is this King of glory?
Yahweh of Armies is the King of glory! Selah. But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength.

They will run, and not be weary.
