If another member of the church sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. Fools show their anger at once, but the prudent ignore an insult. | A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. |

To make an apt answer is a joy to anyone, and a word in season, how good it is! | A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! |

My friends, if anyone is detected in a transgression, you who have received the Spirit should restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness. This means understanding that the law is laid down not for the innocent but for the lawless and disobedient, for the godless and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their father or mother, for murderers, fornicators, sodomites, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to the sound teaching that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me. | Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. |

No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone.
