| Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. | I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. | That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love. |
| I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. | I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. |
| It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise. | By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. |
| And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it.
